Mission

In 1980, computers were for people who understood every part of the hardware and software; Apple packaged them so anyone could get started. Running your own infrastructure today is the same: so fragmented that a typical use means learning a dozen tools and gluing them together. Local Link is the package: your agent, on any harness, any model and any machine.

Your computer comes first

Your agent, your files and your models run on your computer, where they're free and private. The cloud is for when your computer is off or isn't enough, and it's your own cloud account, never ours.

One tool instead of a dozen

An agent of your own needs a harness, a model, a sandbox, a way to reach it from your phone, backups and a machine to run on, and each comes with its own tool. Local Link is one tool over all of them, and it works the same way everywhere.

The best of everything, swapped in one command

Local Link doesn't rebuild what already works. It runs OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Ollama and rclone for you, and when a better harness or model comes out, you switch in one command and your agent keeps its memory, files and chats. Local Link builds only what's missing between them: the sandbox your agent runs in, backups you can trust before you delete, and the relay that gives your computer a public address.

Safe without trying

Your agent starts in a sandbox, a tunnel asks who may reach it, and a backup never deletes a file that isn't safe in every cloud. When you need the whole tool underneath, it's still there, never hidden.

Yours

Your keys stay on your computer, and your files go only to the clouds you connect. Your agent, your models and your backups run without Local Link's servers at all, and the relay that carries your tunnels logs nothing about their requests. It's all open source.
